QSF3.8/QSF2.8 Diesel Engine is a flow-through device that eliminates the need for dust cleaning services and eliminates the need for sensors and operating lights in the equipment cab, allowing for a smaller, easier and more flexible installation than the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) typically used on many other engines. The equipment is installed with 75 horsepower in hopes of meeting near-zero emission requirements.
This technology path also allows it to reduce the amount of cooled exhaust gases recirculated through the combustion chamber, increasing power output to the highest levels of any engine in the sub-4-liter engine class while maintaining comparable fuel efficiency
